You should have received a recent email from me concerning the approval of the Nativity PTO Board in going ahead with the Nativity playground renovation project. In case you weren't able to or have not yet printed out the playground renovation project progress report, here it is: NATIVITY PLAYGROUND RENOVATIO PROJECT PROGRESS REPORT

Since my last email to you (last week), I have had a chance to follow up with Ken Follman of Dakota Fence. Ken assures me that we should have no problem (barring an entirely rainy summer) in having the playground playstation assembled and ready to go for the 2008-09 academic year. Ken will be invited to our committee meetings so that he can provide the information and resources needed by the committee and to answer any and all questions.

Having said that, I would like to set up our first committee meeting for the week of April 28. In particular, I would like to know if you are available (after 5 pm) on either Thursday, May 1 or Friday, May 2. These are the only two days we are able to meet as Ken Follman will be at a conference during that week. Please email me as soon as possible as to your availability on these two days so we can meet and get going on this important project.

In the meantime, I will be putting together a promotional flyer to go out to the Nativity community that will notify them of this important project. We will be looking for 10-12 volunteers over a two-day period during this summer to assist with the playstation structure, as this will lower our overall cost considerably.
