WEEK OF JANUARY 22 REMINDERS

THANK YOU

First of all, let me thank you for all of your selfless work and giving on this worthwhile program and fundraiser. For those of you who have not worked "behind the scenes" of the Carnival, you are in for a treat. It is truly rewarding to see the smiling faces of children and families as the Carnival unfolds. Take time before, during and after the Carnival to celebrate your work. And again, thank you so much! I enjoy working these Carnivals - mainly because of individuals like you!

CARNIVAL WEBSITE

The Wonderful World of Nativity Carnival website [ www.hoedlshaven/NATCARNIVAL ] is continuing to be updated with the most current information. Be sure to forward the above URL address to family, friends and those in the Nativity community and encourage them to visit the website. A few items to be mindful of on the website:

• Music on the Website! If you have audio capability, you are in for a treat! Every page opened in the Wonderful World of Nativity website will present a different and favorite Disney tune! Enjoy! It's our hope to have Disney music piped into all corners of Nativity with the new intercom system.
• 2007 Carnival Brochure - The new 2007 Carnival Brochure is in the process of being printed and distributed to families on Monday, January 29, as well as at the Carnival. But if you're anxious to have something in your hand prior to the Carnival, you can print it out at the Carnival Welcome Page.

RECEIPTS AND REIMBURSEMENTS

Please turn in all your receipts to either me or Jeff Jacobson (put in the PTO mailbox in the school office) prior to the Carnival. Make sure you turn in both an itemized explanation of your receipt, as well as your receipt. We are attempting to keep better accounting efforts so that we can anticipate budgetary needs for future carnivals.

DONATIONS BEING REQUESTED

We continue to be in need of the following donated items, so pass on this information to family, friends and those in the Nativity community:

Mini-Raffle Prizes - Small toy and prize items that range in price from $5.00 - $25.00 for the Mini-Raffle and Jackpot Drawings during the Carnival evening. Please do not donate used toys and items, as items need to be in their original state. These items can be presently left in the school office.

Cakes, Bars and Cookies - Cakes, bars and cookies can be any size and will be used for the Cake Walk game throughout the evening of the carnival. If you are able to contribute these items, please leave them on the tables next to the Front Desk no earlier than Wednesday, January 31.

Sports Drinks and Soda - One of the Carnival games is in need of soda and sports drinks. If you are able to contribute to this cause, please bring any sports drinks and/or soda to the tables next to the Front Desk of the Nativity School. Bottles should be approximately 20 ounces and can be brought in any time between now and the Carnival, on Feb. 2.

Post-Carnival "Thank-You" Celebration at DOOLITTLE'S (21st Avenue and 25th Street)

Beginning at 10:00 pm (or following the Carnival clean-up)

The final evening drawings, sponsored by Lee Hoedl, will be for SURPRISE Disney memorabilia.

All Carnival committee members are automatically entered in the drawing!
