VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The 2007 Nativity Carnival would not be possible without the wonderful support of so many Nativity family members as Carnival Committee coordinators and carnival volunteers.

You need no prior experience to volunteer for any aspect of the Carnival and your help is GREATLY needed. There are volunteer opportunities prior to the Feb. 2 Carnival and volunteer opportunities during the Carnival itself.

If you are able to assist in any of the volunteer opportunities outlined below, email Rita Visser [rnbv@yahoo.com] or Kathy Setness [kathysetness@yahoo.com]. Then just check in at the Front Desk of the Nativity School on the night of the Carnival and let the fun begin! In advance, thanks for your help and we’ll see you on Friday night, February 2!

HOW CAN I CAN HELP?

PRIOR TO THE CARNIVAL

Contact Lee Hoedl, Carnival Chair, at 293-3455 if you can help out with any committee work (small or large projects).

Please see DONATIONS NEEDED as well.

CARNIVAL SET-UP - Thurs., Feb. 1, 6 - 8 pm

Carnival set-up basically consists of rearranging classrooms, hanging signs and decorations, and preparing Carnival materials. There will be Coordinators present to offer direction. It's a great way to get a first view of the Carnival itself!

If you are interested in participating in the Carnival set-up, please contact Rita Visser [rnbv@yahoo.com] or Kathy Setness [kathysetness@yahoo.com].

CARNIVAL NIGHT - Fri., Feb. 2, 6-9 pm

Carnival night consists primarily of staffing the various Carnival games. There are two shifts: 6:00 - 7:30 pm and 7:30 - 9:00 pm. One needs to only sign up for one shift and he/she will be assigned a game and instructions to monitor that particular game.

If you are interested in participating in a Carnival night shift, please contact Rita Visser [rnbv@yahoo.com] or Kathy Setness [kathysetness@yahoo.com].

CARNIVAL BREAKDOWN - Feb. 2, 9 - 10 pm

Carnival breakdown basically consists of picking up classrooms, putting away Carnival materials and sweeping floors - the process takes very little time. There will be Coordinators present to offer direction.

If you are interested in participating in the Carnival clean-up/breakdown, please contact Rita Visser [rnbv@yahoo.com] or Kathy Setness [kathysetness@yahoo.com].
