IS IT ABOVE OR BELOW THE NECK?

Trying to decide if you feel healthy enough to work out? Try this simple measure:

ABOVE THE NECK: If your symptoms are above the neck (stuffy nose, scratchy throat, etc.), it's probably ok to exercise if you have the energy and keep the workout light.

BELOW THE NECK: If your symptoms are beyond your head or throughout the body, such as a deep cough, an upset stomach, aching muscles, fatigue, or fever, let your body rest.

Listen to your body. When in doubt, ask your doctor.
