06.07.11 Committee and Nativity PTO Board Update - Phase Two

UPDATED TIMELINE AND CONTRACTS

Nativity Playground Renovation Committee Members:

As school ends and we move closer to activation of Phase II, here are some quick overall updates I wanted to share with you:

  • The overall timeline has not changed since the last committee update:
    • May 27 - Ordering of sport court tiling and materials/fitness stations
    • June 10 - Final check on gas/power/cable lines for installation areas
    • June 14-15 - Removal of basketball hoops/Installation of sport court cement base
    • July 14-15 - Fitness station equipment installation and wood chip base
    • July 18-19 - Installation of sport court tiles
  • The above tentative timeline will be altered and fluctuate to address impending/potential inclement weather.
  • A postcard promotion has been created to send out to Nativity families in the next week to encourage them to assist with the July 14-15 fitness station installation.
  • The Karen and Chris Gehrig family has requested the basketball hoops that are being removed from the playground area on June 14-15. Northern Construction will remove them and set them off to the side for the Gehrig family to transport.

I am hoping that you will be available to help with the July 14-15 fitness station installation; at the very least, I hope that you will promote the July 14-15 installation to other Nativity families. There will be updates on the website as we get closer to installation and I will also send out an email that you can forward to others. We most likely will need 15-20 persons on these days of installation.

Is there anything I am missing at this point? Thanks again for all your help - we're almost there!

Peace, Lee
