EXTREME ECUADOR: CULTURE AND CLIMB
A varied group of seven individual high-altitude climbers from across the United States gathered in Ecuador for one extraordinary week of climbing and culture in June 2009. They would come to refer to themselves as Team Gringos Con Gas. Here is a brief glimpse of their adventures: from the Pasochoa Forest Reserve (12,600 ft elev) to Illiniza Norte (16,000 ft elev) - to eventually Cotopaxi (19,348 ft elev) and Cayambe (18,998 ft elev). 2010 DISNEY WORLD MARATHON: RACE OF DREAMS
The 2010 Disney World Marathon proved to hold its own against the historic and snowy Disney World Half Marathon the day prior. Temperatures at the start of the race were approximately 29 degrees. Water stations would feel the full force of this phenomenon as excess water dumped on the race route by runners would instantly freeze, as well as water sitting too long in water station cups.
2009 BOSTON MARATHON: CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Join Lee Hoedl as he joins his 219 teammates of Children's Hospital Team Boston in joyfully completing the 113th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20, 2009. In a brief eight minutes, you will fully understand why the the Boston Marathon is so special and why Children's Hospital Boston is so wonderful.
