VOLUNTEERS COMMITTEE

It is the purpose of the Volunteers Committee to provide the Carnival Committee and its various activities/venues with volunteer support.

Requests for volunteer assistance are typically funneled from the subcommittees to the Volunteers Committee. Utilizing the annual interest survey and continued networking, the Volunteers Committee is able to provide necessary volunteers for various projects and responsibilities.

ONGOING DISCUSSION ITEMS/INFORMATION

  • This is an absolutely vital component of the carnival and an extremely difficult position to fill in prior years. This is why the Carnival Chair had undertaken this responsibility for the two years that she (Holly Heintzman) was the PTO’s Volunteer Coordinator. It has been made it known to the PTO that this duty should be in the Volunteer Coordinator’s job description.
